Houghton - Sandra Ann Metsinger, 66 of Houghton passed away Wednesday (September 16, 2026) at Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Sandra was born July 8, 1960 in Canandaigua, a daughter of the late Avery and Rita (Sharett) Metsinger.

Sandra was artistic and loved to color pictures which she would gift to those closest to her. She was also fond of making beaded bracelets.

Surviving is her Daughter, Rita Callahan of Webster; brother, David (Barbara) Metsinger of Perry; nieces, Rebekah Metsinger of Perry, Kathy Halesinger of Perry, and Patricia Privitera of Columbus, North Carolina.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (October 1, 2026) from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hope Chapel, 5 Church Street in Perry, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. Sandra will be laid to rest in Irondequoit Cemetery in Irondequoit. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Houghton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center - Activities Fund, 9876 Luckey Drive, Houghton, New York 14744.
