Sopheya Grace Johns

Sopheya Grace Johns of Perry, NY passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on August 28, 2025, at the age of 15.

Born on March 19, 2010, Sopheya brought a vibrant and free-spirited energy to those around her. She was known for her loving nature and unique personality that touched many lives. She loved her lifelong best friend, Alexa. Her deep affection for animals was a defining part of who she was.

Sopheya is lovingly remembered by her fathers, Raymond Johns Jr. and Jeramie Vargson (Melissa), and her mother, Amy Lindsay (Bill). She is also survived by her siblings, Austin Nelson and Noah Johns; her grandmother, Darlene Schlosser; nieces and nephews; Noah Spencer, Jacob Hatt, Aurora Hatt, Genevieve Hatt, her aunt, Joni Vargson; her cousin, Ze'Kyiah Wright and several other family members.

She was predeceased by her sister Gabrielle Nelson and grandmother Judy Lindsay.

Visitation will be held on Monday September 8th from 5:00 -6:00p.m., followed by a funeral service at 6:00 p.m., at Eaton Watson Funeral Home, 98 N. Main St., Perry, NY 14530.

Sopheya will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Till we see you again, Sophie.
