Stephen P. Voorhees, age 75 of Perry, NY passed away Wednesday March 18th, 2026 at the Wyoming County Community Hospital in Warsaw from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born on July 1st, 1950 in Warsaw, New York to the late Floyd L. and Mary Ellen (White) Voorhees.

Steve was a 1969 graduate of Perry Central School. He proudly served with the US Army.

Steve worked for the Local #435 Union in Rochester. He also was a farmer working on the family farm and several area farms including, Fitch Farms, Broughton Farms, Woodvale Farms, and Myron Brady Farm.

Steve loved to work, if he had time to himself, he enjoyed skiing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by a daughter: Katherine (Randy) Lucero of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Matthew (Janelle) Hennard of Brockport, Justin (Holly Devitt) Voorhees of Mt. Morris, Nathan Voorhees of Perry, 2 sisters: Mary Crockett of Nottingham, New Hampshire, Jane (Thomas Kowasz) Voorhees of Silver Springs, mother of his children: Linda Cygan of Nunda, grandchildren: Gavin and Noah Hennard, Levi, William and Walker Voorhees, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call from 3-6pm on Thursday March 26th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home 98 North Main St. in Perry. A Celebration of Stephen's life will be announced at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Perry FFA Program or to the Wyoming County 4-H Program
