Susan T. Randall, age 77, of Castile, passed away Monday January 19, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester.
She was born in Warsaw, New York on January 29, 1948, a daughter to Evelyn (Stroud) Tarey of Pike, New York and the late Alfred Tarey.
Sue was a 1966 graduate of Letchworth Central High School and received her associates degree from SUNY Alfred in 1968.
She worked for the Wyoming Count Cooperative Extension in Warsaw for 22 years retiring in 2010 where she was a Nutrition Teaching Assistant.
She had also worked for the former Henry Tenhagen Greenhouse, the former Grants and Ben Franklin Stores all in Warsaw. She was the former owner of The Sewing Room in Castile where she sold fabrics and notions. Susie and her husband currently owned and operated a farm and bedding plant business “Randall’ Plants in Castile. Together they were
original vendors at the Perry and Geneseo Farmers Markets. Sue was a volunteer and member of the board for the Gainesville Library. She was a master gardener who enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, quilting and sewing, reading, going to rummage and yard sales and auctions.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years: Norman Randall, 2 daughters: Nellie (John) Szucs of Pike, Emily (Edgar) Wallace of Cobleskill, 3 granddaughters: Jacquelyn Szucs, Emilia and Edith Wallace, 2 Sisters: Judy (Bob) Goff, Sally (Rick) Richard-Tarey both of Pike, brother-in-law: Larry Rogers of Pike, along with several nieces, nephews and friends.
Along with her father, Susan is preceded in death by a sister: Wendy Rogers.
A Celebration of Susan’s Life will be announced at a future date.
Susan will be laid to rest in the East Koy Cemetery in Pike.
