Teresa A. Gambino

Teresa A. Gambino, age 99, of Perry, NY passed away on Saturday December 27, 2025 at the Livingston County for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY where she had been lovingly cared for.

Teresa was born on September 16, 1926 a daughter to the late Ricardo and Angelina (Russo) Estruch.

For many years, Teresa was the proud owner and operator of the former Silver Grill in Perry, where she welcomed countless friends, neighbors, and patrons with her kindness and familiar smile. She was also a longtime member of St. Isidore Catholic Parish (St. Joseph’s Church).

Teresa had a true love for shopping and the Buffalo Bills, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in the generations she helped raise with love, guidance, and unwavering support. Her laughter, wisdom, and dedication to family will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.

She is survived by a daughter: Nancy Briggs of Perry, grandchildren: Scott Briggs, Tracy (Tim) Eustace, Michael F. Gambino, Anthony R. (Madison) Gambino, Ryan (Christina) Livingston, great grandchildren: Gabrielle (Robert) Shoemaker, Dominique (Kaiden) Davis, Nikolas Eustace, Dominic Gambino, Max Gambino, Gunner Gambino, Nicole Gambino, Mikhaela Livingston, McKenzie Livingston, sisters: Sylvia (Howard) Hanna, Julie Arena, Antoinette Pendergast, brother: Anthony (Shirley) Estruch, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Along with her parents Teresa is preceded in death by her husband: Michael A. Gambino who passed away in 1986, son: Michael Gambino who passed away in 2024, granddaughter: Ashly Gambino, siblings: Mary Passamonte, Frances “Fannie” Bianchi, Angie Jacobs, James Estruch, Ricardo Estruch Jr and Martin Estruch.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 10th at 10:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Church 175 Main St. Leicester, NY.

Teresa will be laid to rest in Leicester Cemetery in Leicester, NY.
