Therese M. Cartwright

Therese M. Cartwright, age 93 of LeRoy, NY formerly of Knowlesville and Medina, NY passed away on Tuesday November 22, 2022 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville.

She was born on September 26, 1929 in Lignieres Sonneville, France a daughter to the late Edmond and Germaine (Demail) Gouguet.

Therese was a homemaker who enjoyed being outside working in her vegetable and flower gardens, birdwatching and was a lover to all animals. She enjoyed fishing with her family.

She is survived by her 2 daughters: Patricia (John) Spring of Hunt and Anne Cartwright of LeRoy, siblings: Simone Gouguet, Madeleie Gouguet, Annie (Daniel) Huguet and Yvette Boussard all of France, 4 grandchildren: Casey Button, Christopher Draper, Kellie Wade and Greg (Lisa) Ostrander Jr. 10 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Truman D. Cartwright, siblings: Bernard Gouguet, Christian Gouguet, Jacqueline Dupuy, Micheline Sanchez and Odette Duranceau.

Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Friday November

25th at the Eaton-Watson Home, LLC. 98 N. Main St in Perry where funeral services follow at 1pm.

Therese will be laid to rest in Dalton Union Cemetery in Dalton.
