Walter James Gee, 78, of Perry, passed away on Wednesday April 30, 2025 at Eastside Nursing Home where he had been residing.
He was born in Wellsville, New York on August 19, 1946, a son to the late Gertrude (Gee) Jones.
Walter worked for the former Almor Co. in Warsaw, Robeson Cutlery in Perry and Castile, Champion Products in Perry and retired from Letchworth State Park.
He was a member of the Brick Presbyterian Church in Perry and the Perry Vets Club. He enjoyed hunting, watching Western’s, watching the car races at the Perry Speedway and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.
He is survived by his Loving wife of 54 years: Norma (Merkle) Gee whom he married on September 19, 1970, daughter: Tammy (Peter) Wierzbicki of Weeki Wachee, Fla., sons: Wally Gee of Perry, Billy Gee of Avon, brothers: Bill (Sandy) Jones of Warsaw, Dennis (Tina) Jones of Castile, grandchildren: James (Clarice) Pratt, Rebecca (Daniel) Pratt, great grandsons: Joseph and Vincent along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
Family and friends may call from 11am-1pm on Saturday May 10th at the Brick Presbyterian Church 6 Church St. in Perry where services will follow at 1pm.
Walter will be laid to rest in Dutch Flats Cemetery in Orangeville.
