William F. Chamberlain

William F. Chamberlain, age 82, of Silver Springs, NY passed away on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris.

He was born in Warsaw, New York on November 20, 1940 a son to the late Floyd and Beatrice (Anderson) Chamberlain Jr.

Bill was a 1958 graduate of Perry Central High School. He was a self-employed farmer on his family farm who also worked for the former Voorhees Farm and Broughton Farms. He retired from Agway/ Gro-Mark in Gainesville.

He was a member of the Castile United Church of Christ, International Harvester Club and was a former member of the Town of Castile zoning board. He enjoyed farming, driving on the fields, gardening, attending his grandchildren’s school sporting events going to train and farming shows. Bill was an avid NY Yankees and Buffalo Bills fan.

He is survived by 3 sons: Scott of Silver Springs, Steve of Perry, Jeff (Gina) of Perry, sister: Norma Spencer of Perry, 8 grandchildren: Dominic, Cameron (Annie) Hayden, Cortney (D.J.), Casey (Trevor) Alexandrea, Gavin and Noah, 4 great grandchildren: Sophia, Jaxon, Zia and Dawson "Chambo". Along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

Graveside services at Grace Cemetery in Castile will be private for the family. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held on Saturday July 1st at the Castile United Church of Christ in Castile at 12pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming County 4-H Program.
